Berlin gay cafe
Stahlrohr
Bar Stahlrohr is located in Prenzlauer Berg in the east of Berlin and can foremost be reached via the S- and U-Bahn station Schönhauser Allee. Admission is only permitted for adults and only men.
The steel tube is known for its relaxed, accessible and rather erotic atmosphere. No one will ask you where you approach from or how you lead your life, instead it depends on who you are. Most parties are fiery, uncomplicated, self-determined sex is the first priority. The most important prerequisite to ensure that you are not rejected at the door is a well-groomed appearance and a relaxed attitude towards each other.
Diversity is important to operators, which is why various (fetish) parties are also held here during the week. You can find the current program here. Photography is not allowed inside, so quit your phone in your pocket and enjoy the atmosphere. The darkroom, the smoking and block area are always very clean and lovingly decorated. There are also screens installed on which atmospheric films are played.

Jokes about German sausage are the wurst!
…geddit?!
Berlin is notorious for being the metropolis of sin – a truly liberal and diverse hub where anything goes. The absolute wurst…and we live for it!
Schöneberg is considered to be the main gay area of Berlin, the traditional heart and soul of Berlin's LGBTQ gay community, where the bulk of its gay bars, clubs, and hotels can be establish. The city also has several other exciting queer neighborhoods to check out, each with its singular character, vibe, and homosexual hangouts. The main ones are Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain.
We've been to Berlin several times and usually base ourselves somewhere in Schöneberg, which we love. For us, Schöneberg remains the finest gay neighborhood in Berlin – the true Queen of the Scene! We also love venturing out to the bars and parties happening in the other gay districts of Berlin such as M&oum

Neues Ufer & Hafen
You’ve got to drop anchor here, or at least grab a look at these institutions of the Schöneberg movement and scene.
The Neues Ufer café, bar and exhibition space opened in under the name Anderes Ufer. With its massive windows open to the street, it was the first gay and woman-loving woman café in Europe which could be looked in by passers-by – offering a new, self-confident representation. Tom of Finland and Ulrike Ottinger had exhibitions here, and David Bowie was a regular guest who enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.
