Of San Diego's two queer bathhouses, Club San Diego ( 4th Ave., ) has the location that's most central to the gay scene, as it's smack in the middle of Hillcrest, just a block off the main clubbing thoroughfare, University Road (pictured here is the rather discreet entrance). The good-size cruise-fest comprises a couple of levels of action, with about 50 rooms and all the usual bathhouse facilities - multi-player hot tub, maze-like hallways, video areas reviewing the latest inspirational , lockers, a gym.
