Columbia LGBT Walk/Run Club
Welcome to the Columbia LGBT+ Run/Walk Club! Come slay in the great outdoors! Everyone is welcome including allies! Runners and walkers of all abilities invited.
The objective of the club is to foster community while enjoying some exercise in the great outdoors! For the LGBT community of Columbia this offers a chance to connect with others while promoting a healthy mind and body.
Meet at the Columbia Canal and Riverfront Park at 2pm according to the event calendar. Look for the group organizer holding a flyer next to the entrance sign. Examine the group photos for a picture of the sign. Feel free to send the organizer a message if you possess any trouble.
We will open by stretching and doing an introduction before walking together to warm up. We’ll then break off to run or stroll at any pace! Perceive free to push yourself on your own race, run with a buddy, or keep walking in a group. At 3pm we’ll come back together to do a chilly down.

Grandma is otherwise known as Bill Skipper. The 74 year old is the president of The Capital Club and one of its founding members. He has been president since the year it opened in He likes to tell younger people about The Capital Clubs initial days, a very different — and fraught — time to be in a gay prevent in South Carolina.
