We construct events to come across one another
Calgary queer woman , gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and other sexually diverse refugees and immigrants are welcome to appear meet-up and conversation groups.
Meet-ups and workshops are open to ALL LGBTQ+ Newcomers: refugee claimants, refugees, permanent residents & their friends and supporters. Some meetings are at playfulness locations around the city, so please check dates and locations.

Queer Calgary
Come join Queer Calgary for a fun evening of board games, laughter and fun! We welcome anyone to attend, whether you’re a newcomer to gaming or an experienced board game enthusiast.

Please note that The Sentry Box is made up of two separate business entities. To access the building, please access through the west entrance into the Sentry Box, not The Sentry Box Cards. We’ll be on the upper mezzanine, and signs will be placed on the tables to indicate our tables.
Please also be aware that the upstairs portion of this event is not wheelchair accessible due to the approximately 9 stairs into the building. But we usually have a table setup in the downstairs section for folks who struggle with stairs! Please feel free to deliver us an email at hello@ to let us know in advance.

Between Men is a social-support peer group for queer men (including cis and trans men), transmasculine people, and anyone under the masculine identity umbrella who is gay, bi, pan, toric, queer, questioning, or are otherwise attracted to guys. Between Men is a safe, inclusive space where we can talk openly and honestly about our lived experiences and share our stories to feel heard, esteemed, loved, and supported.
Together, we can work towards improve understanding ourselves and how our intersectionality impacts us, including our sexual orientations, sexualities, gender identities, and gender expressions. By realizing our individual strengths, we can overcome and liberate ourselves from negative conviction systems that keep us from living authentically.
Between Men also offers opportunities to socialize, meet new people, make good connections, and have fun amongst supportive and safe company.
