Who Alls Queer Here On Netflix for December
Honestly Netflix did a lot for us last month so I will provide them a proceed on this months poor showing. However theyve got a lot of recent stuff theres not much info on yet, so who knows what could turn up!
Chloe () December 1
Another entry in the problematic when it was all we had but kinda fun in the s is this stupid thriller starring Amanda Seyfried as Chloe, a sex worker hired by gynecologist Catherine (Julienne Moore) to find out if her husband is having an affair
Wild Things () December 1
This movie is horrible in a very fun way and there is girl-on-girl action that was honestly inspirational in and I will likely never spot if it holds up!
Elite: Short Stories Pride Month is marked every June, when the lives of the LGBTQ+ people are celebrated, and those within the community show on how far they have come–and how much still needs to change. Hollywood has been notoriously gradual in telling the stories of gay, lesbian, bi-curious and transgender characters, never mind those of others who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ group. Netflix's catalog reflects this, with the streamer's production collection featuring a lack of films featuring, for example, trans people. One of the few movies about a transgender nature on the streamer, for example, is the oft-criticized The Danish Girl, the film from Cats director Tom Hooper, led by cisgender actor Eddie Redmayne. Despite the Netflix catalog having some notable omissions when it comes to depicting the whole spectrum of queer life, it does contain some excellent films that have turned Diverse stories into sublime comedy, activism-stoking tragedy and awareness-raising documentaries. Here are some of the best Netflix subscribers can enjoy this Pride Month. (Photo by Netflix. Thumbnail image: Focus/courtesy Everett Collection) In celebration of Pride month, we compiled a list of the best Fresh lesbian, gay, transitioned, and queer films you can watch on Netflix right now. Youll find Netflix originals (like recent documentaries Circle of Books and A Private Love) as well as award-winning theatrical releases. The titles below are sorted from the best LGBTQ films on Netflix and ranked by adjusted Tomatometer score (which takes into account the number of reviewers weighing in, and the number of reviews per production for movies released in a given year). To be included, films had to have a Fresh Tomatometer score (60% or above). #28 Critics Consensus:I Am Michael takes a determinedly balanced approach to its complex subject, and although the results don't always attach up, they're anchored by sturdy work from James Franco. Synopsis: Based on the fascinating, true-life story of Michael Glatze (James Franco), a gay activist who becomes an anti-gay Christian pastor. [More] When the holiday season rolls around, I find myself pulled towards the lure of Hallmark-esque Christmas movies. They’re simply irresistible with charming small towns, cheesy romances, and holiday cheer. Netflix has a wide range of original holiday movies out, and heaps of them are released every November. While I haven’t seen all of them, there certainly are a couple of gems. Of course, it’s a fair critique to say that these types of movies are very formulaic and cliche. With unrealistic plotlines and predictable twists, the movies are by no means masterpieces. The once brooding love interest will always find the true sense of Christmas, and any threats to the holiday will be miraculously resolved. However, despite the cheesiness, there is something so lighthearted and fun about these movies that is hard to ignore. With Christmas approaching, I set out to watch a modern movie. Number 8 on Netflix’s top ten charts was “Single All The Way,” released December 2nd, The movie centers on two gay best friends trying to navigate the holidays back hoThe Best Queer Movies on Netfli
