In a media landscape where representation is increasing and the spotlight is being rightfully shifted, the enormous streamers are following suit, finally bringing LGBTQ+ stories to the masses via their worldwide platforms. One such streamer is the aforementioned Prime, which is certainly championing the best in Diverse filmmaking this Pride Month and, hopefully, beyond. So, with that in mind, here's a stare at what they have to offer.

5 must-see movies coming to Prime Video for Pride Month
It's Pride Month, when corporations of all kinds enjoy to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community, and Amazon is no exception: among the best new movies on Prime Video in June you'll find some classic movies made by, made for or claimed by gay folks. Some of them are giant and camp, others are more sober and sombre. But all five films here are adv worth your day and this Self-acceptance Month and every other month too.
It's worth pointing out here that some of these films were made quite a long occasion ago, and that means that some of them may be slightly problematic when viewed through today's more enlightened eyes. But they've been made with the best intentions, and for me that's enough to justify the odd misstep or erroneous note. Whether you're in the mood for high camp or something more subtle, these five movies are welcome additions to Prime Video this Identity festival Month.

Finding excellent LGBTQ+ films to stream can often be a daunting task, but Amazon Prime brings with it some great options. From powerful foreign-language features to classic Academy Award nominees and cinematic masterpieces, Amazon Prime's offerings cover many distinct facets of the rainbow spectrum. It can grab a lot of typing since Amazon Prime’s Queer catalog rarely auto-fills in the search menu until spelling out most of the title, but the effort is well worth it.
It is perhaps a testament to changing attitudes within the studio system that so many award-winning LGBTQ+ centered films are finally getting made. While not exactly equitable to the number of cisgender heterosexual productions green-lit daily, a global uptick is certainly a move in the right direction for inclusivity.
